Cranford House is a substantial Victorian property with period character, set in the village of Cranford within easy reach of North Devon's quieter coastline. The main living areas occupy the ground floor: a spacious sitting room with a woodburner and smart TV forms the social hub, opening into a dining room and well-equipped kitchen with an oil range and breakfast area. A separate games room contains a pool table. Upstairs, five bedrooms range from a king-size with ensuite to bunks suitable for younger children, with a family bathroom featuring a roll-top tub.
The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi—are included, along with initial logs for the woodburners. The property sleeps 11 and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. Outside, mature grounds span around two acres of largely natural woodland shared with a neighbouring property on-site; the immediate garden includes a lawned area, decking, seating and a children's play area. Parking for five cars is on-site. Bucks Mills, a tiny hamlet of whitewashed cottages in a wooded valley, sits a short drive away and has a dog-friendly beach accessed via a steep coastal path. One well-behaved pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted.
