On the Devon and Cornwall border near Lifton, this working dairy and arable farm provides a genuinely quiet base. The i-Hut is a contemporary shepherd's hut with a double bedroom, shower room, and an open-plan living space where a sofa bed brings the capacity to four. The kitchen is fitted for real cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and all the essentials are there. Heating and hot water come as standard, along with wi-fi, bed linen and towels.
Each room has a view onto the grounds. The bedroom has a wall-mounted TV; the lounge, where the sofa bed converts for sleeping, opens to a private patio and garden. Step outside and the hot tub is waiting. The farm itself has a pond, shared sitting areas, and a children's play space. One car parks on site. The property takes one well-behaved dog at no extra cost, though anyone bothered by smoke should know this is a non-smoking let.
Families find the combination of indoor space and outdoor farm setting works well; couples appreciate the peace. Dartmoor is within reach if you want a proper walk, or simply stay put and use the hot tub in the evening.

Hosts are so accommodating we had to book very last second as our tent broke when camping. Linda was an angel in the situation and sorted us out with the I hut. It’s been a beautiful stay with lovely views, good clean hut and a comfy bed. Will recommend to any around the Dartmoor area

Great week for the 11 of us across 4 of the Lodges. Bit off the beaten track but well worth it. Linda and the family are very welcoming and friendly. Great little fishing lake which the grandkids loved, same with the puppies. All the lodges were very nice, well maintained and had everything we needed, and our view from the retreat was lovely to wake up to, even in the rain. For the price of 4 lodges I doubt you can get better value.

Amazing location! All the best beaches, activities and sight seeing are within 1.5hrs drive. Amazing accommodation! The facilities are top notch, very clean, very spacious and very safe. Our kids loved seeing the puppies, calves, chickens and fishing. Amazing host!!! Linda Banbury is a gem! Very welcoming and everyone in the farm is friendly. Feels like family home. We absolutely loved our stay at the Frankaborough Cottage! My kids didn't want to leave! Definitely coming back! Thank very much! Christine, Nariko, Naomi, Senem, Idris & Zara 24 - 27 Aug. ❤️❤️

Lovely countryside views. We have been coming to this farm for the last 20 years and every time we visit , we are made so welcome. If you want to have a holiday and see “how real dairy farming is done” then book your holiday break here. The Banbury family are so friendly and welcoming, you won’t find a better place with lovely views and lovely people. See you all next year.
