Golden Park - The Cart House
Torridge
The Cart House is a single-storey barn conversion on a working farm near Hartland, with sea views that stretch uninterrupted across the landscape. Everything is on one level: a combined living and dining space with French doors onto a courtyard, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a bedroom with a super king bed and ensuite bathroom. The woodburner draws heat through the night; oil underfloor heating and electricity are included, as are bed linen and towels. You'll need to manage two steps down to the patio, which means limited mobility may pose difficulties here.
The enclosed courtyard garden has seating and a table for outdoor meals. The property sits within Golden Park, where guests can use a shared tennis court and bike store, with parking for two cars. Hartland is on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the North Devon coast nearby draws walkers, bird watchers and anyone after a quiet beach. Clovelly lies north of Hartland Point. Within five miles you'll find shops, pubs, and a small golf course open to guests; cycling, riding, surfing, sailing and fishing are all available locally. No smoking indoors.
