Holemoor Cottage occupies a wing of a 17th-century farmhouse reached down a secluded lane in Devon's countryside. The setting is rural and quiet—wildlife including barn owls, rare birds and roe deer are regularly spotted—yet the Cornish coast lies only 7 miles away. Bude and Widemouth Bay offer beaches, coves and dramatic clifftop paths; the area is also known for surfing. Tamar Lakes provides water sports and fishing closer by, and the region has golf, riding, cycling and family attractions within reach.
The cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms: one double on the first floor with an ensuite bathroom (bath with shower), and one with bunk beds sharing a second ensuite. Downstairs, the open-plan living and dining space has a wood-effect stove, smart TV and patio doors onto a small enclosed garden with seating. The kitchen is equipped for cooking; essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered. One dog stays free.
The main draw for many guests is the private heated indoor pool (8.5m by 3.5m, open mid-March to late October) set within the grounds, along with the seclusion of the location. There is parking for two cars on site. The cottage does not permit smoking indoors.
