What visitors say
Myself and my family stayed here for the weekend, we have never stayed here before. The park looks lovely when you first arrive nice and modern interior and well kept grounds. But I am disappointed in the major fact the whole place is CASHLESS! Even the bingo! Which may I add is not in house only, but regional and nobody in the room has a look in and you have to pay on card and then if you do win you would be paid on your card which takes up to 10 days 🤨 The raffle got cancelled due to not selling any tickets. The entertainment was really diabolical and that is not a understatement. As soon as the entertainment come on everybody was out of there chairs back to their caravan which said it all. The shop shuts at 6pm which in not conventional. The food is very overpriced £17 for a adult meal. No reception on mobile and you have to purchase wifi if you want Internet. which is £8.50 for one day! Overall the place was clean and tidy and modern but the way the facilities were run was poor. I would not return unfortunately

Really friendly staff, nice free dog shower good about a dip in see or on a hot day. Caravan very nice and very equipped, though thought I was getting a small washing up liquid and sponge as promised as a starter, nothing there. Caravan bed are very comfortable and paid for premium and seem to get it with balcony. Nice walks though busy at weekend.

Just finished our stay with the family. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Eleanor and Mel for making the holiday. Super helpful and fix any issues that we had right away. The pool and steam room are fab too. Note as of June 2026 the car charging was not working!

The staff were absolutely amazing at Hedley Wood! The entertainment was brilliant for children too. I recommend that if you are coming to stay in a pod during the summer, you must bring a fan!!! The only let down was the cleanliness of our pod that we stayed in, there was a dirty used earbud on the window sill by the bunk beds, the beds were not equipped with bedding after I specifically asked during our phone call prior to our visit if we needed to bring anything, they stated all sheets were provided we only needed to bring our towels. Whilst we were sorting our suitcases out, we noticed the amount of thick dust that was next to the beds. We noticed that our pod wasn’t clean, it was just straightened up! It is such a shame that the above let this place down as everything else was brilliant! It’s a shame there wasn’t much space for swimming sessions as it was at full capacity.
