Maggie’s Place

Maggie's Place is a converted barn on a quiet Devon holding, next to an active dairy farm. The single bedroom has a king-size bed; a sofa bed in the open-plan living area sleeps a third guest. The shower room is walk-in, and everything is on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine. A TV, DVD player and Amazon Firestick are in the living space. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. One car can park on site, and there is an enclosed patio with outdoor furniture.

Dogs stay free here, and the property suits people travelling with a pet who want a rural base. Bradworthy village, about a mile away, has a pub serving local food and ales. Lizzies Larder farm shop, also nearby, welcomes dogs and serves breakfast. Holsworthy market town is 7 miles south, with shops, cafés, restaurants, a museum, golf club and various activities. Bideford port town lies 14 miles north. The Cornish coast—Bude, Tintagel, Boscastle and smaller villages—is within 13 miles. The Southwest Coast Path runs through the region for walking and coastal views.
