About Woodford Bridge Country Club
Woodford Bridge Country Club is a sprawling estate given over to a substantial 103-room property in the Devon countryside near Holsworthy. Its scale sets it apart from the area's smaller guesthouses, with grounds that include a garden and enough space for families and larger groups to spread out comfortably.
Rooms include family options suited to those travelling with children, and practical touches such as free WiFi, laundry service and a kitchen make longer stays straightforward. Guests also have use of an indoor swimming pool and an on-site gym, useful for keeping active regardless of the weather outside. A pub, restaurant and other eateries are all nearby for evening meals, so there's no need to venture far to eat well.
The Holsworthy countryside setting makes this a good base for exploring rural Devon, with free on-site parking removing one of the usual headaches of a rural stay. It suits those after a straightforward, well-equipped base rather than a boutique experience.
