Sand Dunes

Westward Ho! curves along the North Devon coast with Golden Bay beach directly in front and the South West Coastal Path running through the village. This stretch of coastline is known for its breadth of sand and the sweep of Northam Burrow beyond. The village itself has shops, cafés and a seaside character built over centuries; from the apartment, a flat walk gets you to the seafront in minutes.

Sand Dunes is a three-bedroom apartment arranged over two levels. Bedrooms occupy the ground floor—a kingsize with an en-suite shower, two singles, and a single with a pull-out single bed—along with a second bathroom with bath and shower. The first floor opens into one large living space with floor-to-ceiling windows, a 55-inch television, and access to a balcony running the width of the room; the kitchen is equipped to cook proper meals, and there is a separate dining area. A lift and staircase both connect the floors. One parking space comes in an underground car park. The essentials—heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels—are included; a cot and highchair are available if needed.

Westward Ho! suits families and groups who want beach access without leaving the property, walkers following the coastal path or the Tarka Trail inland, and anyone wanting to swim, surf, fish or paddle without driving. No smoking in the apartment. One dog is welcome.
