Ground floor is the whole of it: you walk through the door into an open-plan living and dining space with a sofa bed, then the kitchen runs off to one side. Bedroom one has a double bed, bedroom two has two singles, and there's a shower room with a heated towel rail. Essentials like heating, electricity, linen and Wi-Fi are sorted. A welcome pack is left for you.
Sea La Vie sits on a holiday park near Bideford Bay where a heated outdoor pool (10m by 5m, open 10:00 to 17:00) and shared grounds with seating and a barbecue are available. There's a children's play area on-site as well. You get private parking for two cars. The lodge accepts one dog free of charge.
The North Devon coast is close by—golden beaches and small seaside villages dot the area. Non-smokers only.
