Stowford Lodge Holiday Cottages - Tarka’s Holt Log Cabin

Tarka's Holt is a detached log cabin on a working holiday site in Torridge, surrounded by six acres of grounds. Families with younger children will find plenty to occupy them: a play area with swings and climbing frame, two Dartmoor ponies, and a level field set up for football, rugby and kite flying. The heated indoor pool (7m x 3m) runs from April to October. A private hot tub for six sits on your own verandah, and you have sole use of the cabin itself.

The three bedrooms are all on the ground floor: a double with an ensuite shower, two single beds in the second room, and a single in the third. The main bathroom has a bath with shower attachment. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, and laundry facilities. The open-plan living space has a 32" TV and DVD player. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Two cots, a travel cot and highchair are available on request. The cabin is set back from the road in a rural spot yet only ten miles from the North Devon coast; the nearest towns are Torrington and Great Torrington. Smoking is not permitted inside.
