The South West Coast Path runs through this corner of North Devon, with dramatic clifftop walking available within reach of The Granary Cottage. Hartland Quay, a few miles along the coast, draws visitors to its lighthouse, shingle beach and shipwreck museum. Inland, the village of Hartland has three pubs, a coffee shop and bakery, plus galleries and craft workshops. Historic Clovelly lies further along the shore. A pub sits within a mile of the property itself.
This converted barn sleeps six across three bedrooms: two doubles and a bunk room. One double has an en-suite. The second bathroom has a shower over the bath and heated towel rail. Downstairs, the living and dining space features exposed beams and skylights, with a wood burner for cooler evenings and seating around a large table. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. Note that low ceilings and exposed beams run through the living area. Outside, an enclosed garden provides a private outdoor space. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside.
The property forms part of a small complex in a rural setting on the Hartland Peninsula. Arrival is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
