The Little Barn

Beaworthy sits in rural Devon, far enough from the coast to feel genuinely remote yet close enough to reach Widemouth Bay. The Little Barn is a converted barn on the edge of this quiet landscape, where a public footpath runs down to a stream. The property stands on one level, making it straightforward to navigate: an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with a wood burner and Smart TV; two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed and garden access, one with a zip-and-link double that can be split into singles); and two bathrooms. The kitchen has a range-style electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, while a utility room houses a freezer, washing machine and extra toilet. Underfloor heating runs throughout.

The main bedroom opens directly onto the enclosed garden, which has sitting-out space and furniture. Parking for three cars is on site. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There are shallow steps down into the garden from the property. The location works well for exploring Dartmoor National Park, which is 14 miles to the east, or for a quieter break in Devon countryside. Non-smokers only.
