Dartmoor National Park is within reach on foot or a short drive from Carey Meadows, making this a solid base for moorland walks, cycling, and exploring north Devon's landscape. The village of Ashwater is close by, and the property sits in working farmland where you can actually see the countryside changing with the seasons rather than just passing through it.
This is a self-contained annexe on a single level, attached to the owners' home but entirely yours. Three bedrooms sleep six: one has a king bed with its own shower room, another a king, and the third zip-and-link twin beds. The main bathroom has a bath and separate shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining area with a wood-burning stove (initial fuel included) opens into a kitchen with electric cooking, dishwasher, and washing machine. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are all covered. Outside, an enclosed garden has seating and furniture for sitting out. Parking for four cars on site, and there's an electric car charging point if you need it.
This suits families or groups wanting a full kitchen and space to spread out, without the formality of a hotel. No smoking inside. Arrive after 3pm, depart before 10am.
