The Old Post House

Clovelly's steep cobbled streets and harbour-side cottages draw visitors year-round, but the village itself is traffic-free and built for wandering on foot. The Old Post House sits nearby in Torridge, giving you the quieter base while keeping the drama of the Hartland Peninsula within easy reach—rugged cliffs, secluded beaches, and the wild coastline are minutes away. Bideford's market quay and Westward Ho!'s golden beaches are also close by.

The house holds four bedrooms (two kingsize, one double, one single) across the first floor and three bathrooms, sleeping seven in total. Downstairs, a living room with woodburner and French doors opens onto the garden, while the kitchen comes with an Aga and dishwasher for proper cooking. There's a separate games room and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Heating, electricity, wifi and bed linen are all included; initial logs for the burner come with the property. Outside, you have lawned gardens with seating, bike storage and parking space. No smoking throughout.
