You walk into Truffle House through the main living space—an open-plan room that pulls everything together on one floor. Bi-fold doors frame the view and lead directly onto decking, where a private hot tub sits ready. The layout flows naturally from the lounge (wood burner, Smart TV, comfortable seating) through to a dining area and into a kitchen built for actual cooking, with a gas hob, electric oven and the kind of counter space that doesn't leave you squeezing round each other. Everything has underfloor heating, and the room fills with daylight through those generous glass doors.
Three bedrooms serve different needs: a super-king en-suite, a king-size room, and a twin that can be arranged as a super-king if you'd rather. The family bathroom has both a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower. Essentials like bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. Outside sits an enclosed garden with terrace, seating areas and a barbecue; there's parking for two cars and a children's play area shared with other properties on the grounds. The property is set within gated grounds at The Pig on the Hill complex, which has an on-site pub and larder. Westward Ho!'s sandy beach is within easy reach. Note that the garden includes 5 steps. Smoking is not permitted.

We stayed in the Campervan pen. Very well fitted out and very clean. Owners responded quickly via WhatsApp over a small matter. Food in pub was great. Enjoyed our stay but must point out it is advertised as private and secluded. It is neither as the public pathway in the field along side is higher than the pen and passers by look in from above. Also the gate is low enough to be looked over by those going to their cars from neighbouring lets and the balcony of the neighbouring let.. We did feel a little let down as the secluded and private description was a key factor when booked. The private toilet is in a shared laundry. It feels mean to put this venue down as the rest was truly amazing. But hopefully this feed back may get these privacy issues addressed or the advertising adjusted.

Lovely complex for Motorhome or Campervan. Has all the Facilities you need & toilets just down hill if you haven't one. Hot Shower, BBQ table & chairs. Sunbeds, jacuzzi, nice decking.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very private hot tub and balcony. Thoughtful hosts who left a lovely welcome pack which included fizz for the adults and a sticker set for both children. Fully equipped kitchen, excellent food and service at the onsite pub. Westward Ho! a great location for a family holiday with plenty to do and a beautiful beach. Would highly recommend Pig on the Hill!

We stayed at the Pig Pen, with our motorhome for two nights. We did not want to leave. The attention to detail, the hot tub, outside shower and BBQ made it a perfect stop over. With the pub around the corner, free launderette and cows on the doorstep we can't wait to come back!
