Our stay was truly one of the most special parts of our trip to the Isle of Skye. Skye itself is stunning, and Abhaig was the perfect home base; a great jumping-off point for exploring during the day, but also such a peaceful, beautiful place to come back to and unwind. We honestly started missing it before we even left. Steve and Viv are incredibly kind hosts and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. Wonderful food, cozy accommodations, and encouragement as we navigated driving on the "wrong" side of the road 🤣 Breakfast each morning was delicious and generous (perfect fuel for a day of hiking), and the view from our room was serene and beautiful. We felt so well taken care of the entire time. Cannot wait to come back!

We absolutely loved staying at Abhaig, it felt as though we were staying with our Scottish Aunt and Uncle! Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality makes this place truly special. What really set this place apart was how much Viv and Steve cared about making our trip unforgettable. They helped us plan each day, offering local tips and excellent restaurant recommendations. The house itself was beautifully maintained, and felt both luxurious and cozy. We stayed in the garden room and loved seeing the sheep across the road every morning. There is a private bathroom that is detached and downstairs. Every breakfast was absolutely delicious, and they were more than happy to accommodate anything we needed throughout our stay. We've already told our friends and family about our wonderful experience and have recommended Abhaig to anyone who will listen. We are already planning our return visit, we will be staying at Abhaig again.

Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip. Viv & Steve made us feel so at home and had some great recommendations for us, the rooms were super cozy and clean with good views. The food was unbelievable!! Amazing smoked salmon, french toast and honestly some of the best porridge we’ve ever had. The scenery around is stunning and a great place to base yourselves while exploring the island. Would highly recommend staying here!

The Abhaig bnb is a fantastic place to stay. The location is super with a great view. The hosts, Viv and Steve made our trip to Skye unforgettable.
