Clouds Skye Meadow

Motorhome pitches with electric hook-ups on Skye, 20 minutes' drive from Portree.

About Clouds Skye Meadow

Clouds Skye Meadow is a motorhome site in the Hebrides on the Isle of Skye. Pitches come with electric hook-ups, and there are showers on site. Portree, the island's main town with shops, restaurants and a harbour, is within 20 minutes' drive.

The location puts you near some of Skye's well-known attractions. The Trotternish Ridge and Old Man of Storr are accessible from here, as is the Quiraing. Dunvegan Castle and its gardens lie to the west. Less visited spots include Rubha Hunish at the island's north tip and the quieter east coast around Elgol, both within reach for day trips or longer drives.

A huge thank you to Steve and his wonderful dog for the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere. We really felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The view from the window was absolutely beautiful, and we especially loved the vintage record player. We spent the whole evening listening to vinyl records with friends and having lovely conversations — it created such a cozy and memorable atmosphere. We would definitely love to come back again if we visit Skye in the future!

A fantastic find. Stunning views, beautifully decorated studio with excellent attention to detail. Both went above and beyond to help with my wife's allergies when they didn't have to. Very friendly hosts and an even sweeter dog. Could not fault them. Even wished us a happy anniversary! Would love to stay there again. Would recommend to anyone.

Steve was an awesome host and very helpful. The room was a decent size and very clean. There is a small sitting area with a couch, small table with two chairs for dining, small fridge and an area that holds the breakfast staples. There is also a Nespresso machine with different coffees available. You have your own bathroom. I really liked the blinds they had for all the windows including the skylights as the days were extra long when we were there. There are amazing views out the back deck, plenty of parking and access to streaming services. It is located on one of those one lane roads that seem to be everywhere in Skye but you get used to it. Also, there is no air conditioning but again this seems to be the case at every location we stayed at in northern Scotland. We just happened to come during a week that had exceptionally good/warm weather. I added a photo of the view from our private deck. It was really lovely.
