Brackenstone Lodge

Brackenstone Lodge is an 18th-century stone building with genuine character, set within a country estate in the Vale of Glamorgan near Monmouth. The property retains original features including a cheese press, and from the first floor you can see across to the Heritage Coast. It's a private whole-property rental sleeping four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with on-site parking.

The lodge is furnished for comfort rather than fuss. Essentials including Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided; the kitchen is set up for cooking proper meals. Both a cot and highchair are available if needed. Outside, you have access to the estate gardens for picnics, and alpacas live on the grounds. The nearest coast is within reach for beach days, and Cowbridge's historic centre lies nearby. Smoking is not permitted inside.
