Caban suits couples after genuine quiet. This octagonal cottage sits alone within seven acres of woodland and wild gardens on the Vale of Glamorgan coast, where the horizon meets the sea across uninterrupted views. The single open-plan studio holds a double bed, dining space and wood burner; large windows frame the water beyond. A separate kitchenette and shower room sit outside the main building, along with a garden table and fire pit.
Everything needed for a restorative stay is here—electricity, wifi and bed linen are provided. The kitchen lets you prepare meals or simply make tea while watching the waves. Car parking is on site. Guests settle into the rhythm of the Heritage Coast: dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, walking routes that shift with the seasons. St Donat's Castle stands nearby. Traditional pubs and independent shops sit in the surrounding villages; Cardiff is 25 minutes away by car.
Smoking is not permitted. This is a retreat where the landscape and the pace of days become the point.
