About The Bishopstrow Hotel And Spa
The Bishopstrow Hotel And Spa occupies a Georgian country house near Warminster, the kind of solid, well-proportioned building that lends itself easily to a spa hotel and wedding venue. Set within its own grounds, it retains a country-house feel while offering the facilities of a modern retreat, including a spa and sauna, a gym, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks in the room, with family rooms available for those travelling with children, and childcare can be arranged. Guests can eat in the restaurant, order room service, or take advantage of packed lunches and kids' meals, and there's a bar for something more relaxed. Practical extras include free WiFi, a lift, laundry service, luggage storage and free on-site parking, plus meeting rooms and VIP facilities for those combining business with a stay.
Outside, there's a garden and picnic area with outdoor seating, and the grounds provide a good base for exploring the wider area. Wincanton Golf Club lies nearby for golfers, and Warminster itself, with its pubs, restaurants and other eateries, is close enough for an evening out. Pets are welcome, making this a practical choice for a country stay with a dog in tow.
