Oldfield occupies a converted barn on an active farm in rural Wiltshire, with direct access to open countryside. The property sleeps seven across four bedrooms—a single, a double with ensuite, two singles in one room, and another single with a pull-out bed—plus three bathrooms. The ground floor holds a living and dining space with French doors onto a patio, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. An enclosed garden with furniture and parking for two cars complete the practical setup. One well-behaved dog can stay with you.
The essentials are covered: electricity from the farm's solar panels, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The kitchen has everything from a dishwasher to a washing machine; a tumble dryer is available on a shared basis. Copse and Loppers Forest School lies nearby if you're travelling with younger children. Longleat Safari Park, Stonehenge, Avebury and Stourhead are all within reach for days out. A pub and restaurant sit about half a mile down the hill on foot. Shops and other facilities are two miles away. No smoking throughout.
