About Warwick Racecourse Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
One of the few Caravan and Motorhome Club sites genuinely walkable to a historic town centre, this pitch sits inside Warwick Racecourse itself, giving you a fifteen-minute stroll into Warwick for the castle, independent shops and riverside pubs without needing to move the van. The fifty-six grass and hardstanding pitches spread across the racecourse infield, offering an open, well-kept setting with mature boundary trees and views towards the grandstands. Most pitches come with sixteen-amp hook-up; tents aren't accepted.
Facilities include a modern toilet and shower block, waste points and recycling. The racecourse location also brings a nine-hole golf course, driving range and surrounding parkland for dog walks. The trade-off is that arrivals aren't permitted on race days themselves – you'll need to check the calendar and arrive the day before a meeting – so timing a stay requires a little advance planning.
Outside race days, it's a straightforward, sociable base for the Cotswolds and Shakespeare country, with Leamington Spa, Kenilworth Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon all within a short drive, and Hatton Locks on the Grand Union Canal close enough for a longer day out.

They are helpful and accommodating. They are a true credit to the Caravan & Motorhome Club. The site is very well located for visiting the castle and Warwick town centre which was full of interesting buildings, shops and some excellent pubs (particularly The Eagle and The Old Post Office). Being inside the race course is quite unique too. I would use the site again if visiting Warwick but the site is not worth visiting on its own merit - you're basically paying quite a bit of money to camp in a car park with facilities that could do with a bit of an uplift. It's like staying in an (expensive) aire.

Location of site is good close to pubs, restaurants and Warwick Castle. However we did pay just short of £50.00 a night for a car park pitch and had to move the second night! Due to what can only be described as poor communication. Not your typical high standard CAMC site. Toilets and showers clean but again not the most modern.

Love this site. Facilities are spotless. Wardens are lovely we have stayed there several times and will be back in September. Short walk into lovely Warwick. Look forward to returning in September,.
