Boreham Bridge Barn

Wealden's position between the South Downs and the coast puts you within reach of Pevensey and Herstmonceux castles, the Battle site, and several long-distance walking routes including the 1066 Country Walk. Boreham Bridge Barn itself stands on ground with Saxon and Iron Age history—archaeological work here uncovered pottery fragments and Bronze Age flint tools, some displayed inside the property.

The barn is a detached conversion with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping six. Downstairs, an open-plan living space contains a kitchen with a full set of appliances, a dining area, and a sitting room with a television. One bedroom has an en suite shower room; the other two bedrooms are upstairs, along with a family bathroom. Essentials like heating, linen, towels and wi-fi are included, and there is parking for two cars on site. The property has a garden with seating and a barbecue. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. No smoking inside.

The barn sits on a main road that can be busy during peak hours and adjoins the owner's home. The surrounding area suits walkers exploring 1066 Country, visitors to the Kent and Sussex steam railway at Bodiam, and anyone wanting to combine countryside with access to Hastings, Camber Sands or Eastbourne.
