The Gamekeeper - The Gamekeepers Cottage

The Gamekeeper is a detached cottage built in 1642, equipped for self-catering with everything needed for a week away. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Downstairs, a sitting room with woodburner and smart TV opens onto a dining room; a ground-floor shower room serves daytime needs. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included.

Three bedrooms sleep eight: the main bedroom holds a king and a single; the second has a double and single; the third contains two singles and is accessed through the second bedroom. There's a family bathroom upstairs. A patio with garden furniture sits off the lawned garden, and the property has parking for two cars on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Access to a games room with pool table, table tennis and football table is available by arrangement.

The cottage stands in countryside close to Welwyn village, with pubs and restaurants nearby. Welwyn North station is within walking distance. No smoking inside, and check-in is after 16:00.
