What visitors say
Superb place to visit. Loads to do for children, teens and adults. Woodland walks, running and cycle trails very well signposted. Lots of playgrounds for children of different ages. Cycle hire, treetop adventure walk (Go Ape, get tickets in advance), archery, mini golf and more. There was a cafe (we didn't use it). The toilets were good and clean and there was loads of well organised parking.

If you want a cheap day out, this is it. The play areas cater to all ages. Lovely walks and bike rides. Cafe is excellent but you can take a picnic or barbecue if you want. A family can easily spend a day here. Toilets are clean and well maintained. Dog friendly.

Lovely place for a family walk. You can rent bicycles too if that's what you'd prefer and there are plenty of designated bike trails marked out. The kids loved the walk because every few minutes you come across a different play park. There are also different themes, such a 'musical' trail and the Gruffalo trail. Parking is a bit pricy but that could potentially be your only expense if you bring a picnic. We paid £10 for about 4 hours parking roughly but there are plenty of spaces and you are right in the thick of it all which makes it worth it in my opinion. There is a cafe and clean toilets including baby changing facilities. Also note this is a bin free site so be prepared to take your rubbish with you.

Great place for a family bike ride, but avoid it during events. The car park is a mess, and you shouldn't expect to park near the main building. The attendants are unhelpful. They don't check if you have a disability or give you time to ask questions; they just point and walk away.
