East Hook Holiday Cottages - Daisy Cottage

Dartmoor's network of footpaths and bridleways starts on the doorstep, making Daisy Cottage an ideal base for exploring moorland on foot or by bike. The market towns of Tavistock and Chagford are within easy reach, as are the valleys and villages that scatter across the National Park's fringes. This 300-year-old farmhouse cottage sits in open countryside where sheep graze, so dogs need to stay on a lead; one pet is welcome.

The layout gives a proper living space: a downstairs sitting room with woodburner and seating for six, a separate kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, and a bathroom on the ground floor. Three bedrooms upstairs sleep six—a double, a twin and a single—plus there's a toilet ensuite off the master. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included; initial logs for the fire are provided. The cottage has its own parking for two cars and a rear garden with patio. A larger shared grassed area with picnic tables and barbecue adjoins the property, used jointly with the neighbouring Clover Cottage.

The property draws water from a borehole rather than mains supply. No smoking indoors.
