Southlake Barn

Southlake Barn arrives fully equipped for a self-catering stay. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer for proper cooking; a washing machine handles laundry. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. A tumble dryer sits in the external store, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request. One dog stays free.

The conversion spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds the living room with a 43-inch Freeview TV and access to a decked balcony, plus a kitchen-dining area and shower room (separate toilet). Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles. Ten external wooden steps lead to the entrance. Parking for two cars is on site, and a bike store is provided.

The barn sits at the end of a private lane in West Devon, near Yennadon Stone Ltd. A pub lies within a mile. The wider area offers a post office, deli, cafes and shops within two miles, while the stannary town of Tavistock is six miles away with independent retailers and a Pannier Market. Dartmoor National Park is on the doorstep for moorland walks, cycling and riding. No smoking inside.
