The Retreat at Fern Hill

Walking through the front door of The Retreat at Fern Hill, you enter a light-filled living and dining space that opens onto the heart of the property. A double bedroom and twin room each have their own en-suite or access to a family bathroom, giving four guests genuine comfort and privacy. The kitchen is fitted for self-catering, with proper cooking equipment and appliances rather than token basics.

Gardens frame both sides of the bungalow. Lavender borders greet you at the entrance; behind the property, a secluded rear garden with mature planting and a wooden bench is the obvious place to settle with a book or morning coffee. Private parking sits right outside. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included in your stay.

The bungalow sits in countryside between Okehampton and the edges of Dartmoor. Okehampton itself has a pub within a mile and serves as the starting point for serious walkers—the town sits on the Granite Way, Two Castles Trail, and West Devon Way, with direct access to moorland, woodland and the full range of Dartmoor terrain nearby. No smoking indoors.
