The Villa at Youlditch Farm

West Devon's position on the edge of Dartmoor means walking and cycling trails start practically at your door. The Villa at Youlditch Farm takes advantage of that—a single-storey cottage where everything happens on the ground floor, making it straightforward to move around. It sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a double bed and its own toilet, the other with two singles. There's a separate shower room, and a sitting room with a smart TV and Wi-Fi to use between outdoor days.

The kitchen has a gas oven and hob if you want to cook, and the essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen and towels—are all included. What really matters here is the garden: it's enclosed and genuinely large, which is why one dog can stay free and have proper space to run. There's parking for one car on site, and a pub sits within a mile. Children under five are not accommodated. No smoking inside.
