South View Cottage

South View Cottage works well for families of up to five, or couples after space to spread out. The two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles and a sofa bed—sit on the first and second floors. Downstairs there's a living room with a woodburner, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, including an oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The single bathroom serves the whole cottage. Note that the stairs are steep and spiral in places.

The cottage comes with wi-fi, bed linen, towels and a welcome pack on arrival. The heating and electricity are included, as is the initial fuel for the woodburner. Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and furniture provides a private space, and there's parking for one car on site. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost. No smoking indoors.

Located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Chadlington, South View Cottage sits among serious walking and cycling terrain—the immediate area is laced with footpaths, bridleways and cycle routes. The nearest shop is a mile and a half away; pubs and restaurants are further, around three miles off. It's close enough to Chipping Norton for a market-day visit, but far enough out to feel properly rural.
