West Suffolk's Brecks region draws people for its woodland trails and river access—The Norfolk sits at the heart of it, a first-floor apartment with its own entrance and a private garden. The River Ouse runs alongside the grounds, and from here you can walk directly to the water's edge or arrange a rowing boat through the on-site hotel. Thetford Forest, with its tree-top walks and 18,000 hectares of paths, is eight minutes' drive away.

The apartment sleeps four across one bedroom with a zip-and-link super kingsize bed (convertible to twins if you request ahead) and a sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom has both a bath with shower and a separate walk-in shower. An open-plan layout combines the living space, dining area and kitchen, which is fully equipped for self-catering—oven, induction hob, dishwasher and the rest. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There's on-site parking and a bike store.

The high street is minutes away on foot, with cafes and restaurants nearby. Thetford and Swaffham are 20 minutes by car for market-day browsing. No smoking in the apartment.
