Almond Cottage

Almond Cottage comes ready to use. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook properly or do laundry without thinking about it. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included. There's a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a Smart TV, and enough seating to spread out. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it. One bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), the other a single (3ft), sleeping three altogether. A welcome pack is left for your arrival.

The cottage sits in Allithwaite village, a short walk from The Pheasant Inn and a local shop. Grange-over-Sands, the Edwardian seaside town, is walkable or a 10-minute drive away. Cartmel, known for its 12th-century priory and racecourse, is under 2 miles off. Lake Windermere lies 9 miles south; Holker Hall, Sizergh Castle, Grizedale Forest and the Lakeland Motor Museum are all within reach for day trips. The property has an enclosed south-facing patio with garden furniture and a bike store. Parking is on the road, about 50 yards from the entrance. One pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted.
