Lake Windermere is 400 yards away, and from there you can hire a rowing boat, book a tennis court, try pitch-and-putt golf, or catch a lake steamer. Bowness town centre—with its shops, pubs and restaurants—is equally close. The fells and mountains of the wider Lake District are a short drive off.
Bowness Oaks is a first-floor apartment sleeping four across two bedrooms, each with a television and fitted wardrobes. The open-plan living space has comfortable seating, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer all there. One bathroom with bath and shower. A balcony overlooks the surrounding rooftops, and there's a shared lawned garden. Parking for one car is on site. One dog is welcome.
