Howgills Apartment 10 occupies the second floor of Bainbridge Court as a split-level space for up to six guests. Ground level holds the living quarters: an open-plan room combining lounge and dining area, with a kitchen fitted for self-catering—electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, and full-sized fridge-freezer. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with bunks (a double on the bottom, single above, plus a 3ft bunk). Each bedroom has its own ensuite with walk-in shower and heated towel rail.
The apartment comes with Wi-Fi throughout, bed linen and towels provided, and parking for two cars on site. Electricity is included. No smoking inside. Sedbergh itself is known as England's Book Town, with independent bookshops lining its streets, and sits on the Dales Way walking route. The surrounding area offers the Yorkshire Three Peaks within reach, cycling routes including the Lakes and Dales Loop, and numerous walking trails through the countryside. Fairfield Mill, a restored textile mill housing artist studios, is nearby for those interested in crafts and contemporary work.

A home away from home. Cean, comfortable and having a kitchen was the icing on the cake. As well as the normal things you'd expect, we had plates and cutlery too which we weren't expecting. In fact, every drawer seemed to have a new surprise. It's close enough to the village to be a very short walk to the shops with enough literature in the main entrance to give you plenty of things to do. Stairs were also wide enough to get luggage up without banging into the walls. All of us enjoyed our stay and it would be our first choice of we visit again.

At lovely, clean place to stay. Close to footpaths meaning that we could spend all day exploring the Dales. It was perfect!

Perfect . The apartment was spotlessly clean , everything you could need in a kitchen was there , beds were very comfortable and large . It was so nice to have decent size bath towels provided . Sue the housekeeper is so nice and her attention to detail in the apartment was lovely. Private parking space for this apartment which was great. We were only there for a couple of days and it was more than we could ask for. A big thank you to Nigel ( the owner ) for everything We would certainly recommend this apartment .
