Lakeside

Lakeside is a five-bedroom house sleeping 11 in Westmorland and Furness, designed on a single level with direct garden access throughout. The open-plan living and dining space connects to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, range cooker, dishwasher and all the basics are there. Five bedrooms are arranged across the property: one with a kingsize bed and en-suite shower, one with a super kingsize and single, and three doubles or bunk beds. A second bathroom has both bath and shower. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—come as standard.

The real draw is the garden setup. A six-person hot tub sits in the private grounds, which also has seating areas and furniture for outdoor time. Three cars can park on the property, and the whole place is yours alone. Smoking is not permitted. The location sits close enough to Lake District National Park that walking and exploring are straightforward, though the house itself offers plenty of reason to stay put.
