Lonsdale House Apartments occupies the second floor of a Grade II listed building right in the middle of it all. The whole property is yours alone: a single bedroom sleeping up to three, one bathroom, and an open-plan living and kitchen area flooded with natural light.
The bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom contains a shower cubicle. Downstairs in the kitchen area you'll find an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge-freezer—enough to cook proper meals rather than rely on takeaways. The living space has a sofa bed, smart TV, and a dining area. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. There's a shared washing machine and tumble dryer in a utility room, and a shared garden with patio behind the building.
The town itself has plenty to explore on foot. Thirty minutes' drive will take you into the Lake District National Park proper, where you can walk, kayak or simply take in the landscape. No smoking inside the property.

The Grade II listed building and garden is lovely with a very modern interior. The shower is a really good size and the sofa bed very comfortable. The central location makes these apartments ideal for exploring the local area.

We were very satisfied with our suite and the location of the property in Ulverston. The suite was clean and well appointed. The only improvement would be a larger bed, the room could easily have accommodated a queen size which for a deluxe suite would have been nice. The hidden garden on the property is beautiful. We will definitely book again.

Beautiful apartment, so spacious and has everything you could possibly need. We only stayed for one night on our way through to Scotland but would be perfect for a longer stay too. Situated right in the centre of town - we have stayed in the lakes previously so had some favourite known restaurants etc and this was perfectly placed for all of those. Easy parking locally. Beautiful, couldn’t ask for more.

Lonsdale house is immaculate; white and clean and shiny and new. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay, the kitchen is well equipped, we only used the kettle though !!! Only thing missing was a bottle opener but we managed to improvise. The bed was a bit soft for my preference but would be fine for anyone under age 50 !!! Great central location directly opposite the car park, parking charges are significantly cheaper than the rest of the Lake District !! Highly recommend.
