The open-plan layout combines a living area with dining space and kitchen in one room, plus a separate bedroom and shower room. Everything you need for cooking is provided: electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. The apartment sleeps three, with a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. Electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included.
The space is clean and modern throughout. The shower cubicle is well-appointed, and there's a washing machine and tumble dryer in the shared utility room if you need them. A shared patio garden is accessible to guests. The Hope & Anchor pub is within walking distance, and Ulverston town centre is on your doorstep with independent shops and cafés nearby. The Southern Lake District is roughly 30 minutes' drive away. No smoking is permitted in the apartment.

The Grade II listed building and garden is lovely with a very modern interior. The shower is a really good size and the sofa bed very comfortable. The central location makes these apartments ideal for exploring the local area.

We were very satisfied with our suite and the location of the property in Ulverston. The suite was clean and well appointed. The only improvement would be a larger bed, the room could easily have accommodated a queen size which for a deluxe suite would have been nice. The hidden garden on the property is beautiful. We will definitely book again.

Beautiful apartment, so spacious and has everything you could possibly need. We only stayed for one night on our way through to Scotland but would be perfect for a longer stay too. Situated right in the centre of town - we have stayed in the lakes previously so had some favourite known restaurants etc and this was perfectly placed for all of those. Easy parking locally. Beautiful, couldn’t ask for more.

Lonsdale house is immaculate; white and clean and shiny and new. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay, the kitchen is well equipped, we only used the kettle though !!! Only thing missing was a bottle opener but we managed to improvise. The bed was a bit soft for my preference but would be fine for anyone under age 50 !!! Great central location directly opposite the car park, parking charges are significantly cheaper than the rest of the Lake District !! Highly recommend.
