Rampsbeck Lodge

Rampsbeck Lodge is a self-contained one-bedroom property in Watermillock, with direct access to the shoreline of Ullswater. Everything you need for a self-catering break is built in: a kitchen with electric oven and gas hob for proper cooking, a double bedroom, ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, and a separate toilet. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The whole space is on the ground floor, arranged as open-plan living with a dining area and sitting space that opens onto the garden.

Outside, you have use of a front garden with seating, and the grounds extend across two acres down to the water's edge—a rare privilege for a lakeside rental. Private parking accommodates two cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The location suits anyone wanting Lake District access without the bustle of the central lakes; Pooley Bridge is within reach for boat trips, and walking routes to Aira Force and Glenridding are nearby. Watermillock village itself has a pub and local amenities. Please note that the water lies at the far end of the grounds. Smoking is not permitted inside.
