Ten acres of grounds surround this converted country house on the edge of the National Park, its south-facing position overlooking both fell and sea. Silverdale Apartment occupies the ground floor, a recently renovated space that gives direct access to the shared gardens and grounds. A kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a living room with smart TV, two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed, one with two singles), and a shower room make up the layout for four guests.

Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. One dog stays free. The grounds offer space to move around, there's parking for one car on site, and the enclosed garden has furniture. The location works equally well for walkers heading into the Lake District hills or anyone wanting to spend time on the coast—Grange-over-Sands is three miles away, with a pub serving food just a short walk from the gates. Smoking is not permitted inside.
