Sunnyside

Sunnyside is a two-bedroom cottage near Kendal, designed in Arts and Crafts style. The ground floor holds the living room with its open fire, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There's also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king bed, the other with two double beds. The bathroom has both a bath with shower over and a separate cubicle shower.

The property is yours entirely, sleeping four people. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are included, as is the initial fuel for the fire. You can bring one dog. There's parking for two cars on site, and a pub within a mile. The cottage suits families or groups looking for a base to explore the Lakes, and works equally well for a quiet retreat by the fire.
