Watersedge Retreat is a modern two-bedroom cottage in Milnthorpe, within the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape. The ground floor holds a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, a dining area, and a sitting room that opens through patio doors onto a balcony. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a shower room with heated towel rail. The property sleeps four and is yours alone for the duration of your stay.

Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The cottage has on-road parking and a garden with sitting-out furniture. One dog is welcome. There is a step in the grounds. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed, and a welcome pack is provided on arrival.

The coast lies within a mile. Arnside village, with its cafés, shops and pubs, is nearby; Milnthorpe offers supermarkets and restaurants. Cycling routes cross the area. Rock + Run is also close at hand. The setting suits families, couples and anyone wanting a base to explore the landscape around the River Kent estuary and the fells beyond.

Lovely property to spend a short break away or a longer holiday. Views are lovely and amazing sunsets too. The property itself is clean and modern. Can't go wrong

Absolutely gorgeous house that's very tastefully decorated, amazing views from the lounge and front bedroom with both rooms having balconies. Everything is provided to make it home from home. I would definitely recommend a long or short stay for walkers and dog owners

We had a wonderful extended weekend in a part of the world we didn't know very well. This was a great base from which to explore Silverdale and Arnside. The views from the inside were incredible, from the outside it's a bit of a monstrosity.

Haven’t actually stayed here but at a friends apartment which is very nearby. The location provides stunning views across the Kent estuary. Caution is well advised when walking the sands as the tide or ‘bore’ can come in at a very rapid rate. There is normally a klaxon which sounds when the tide is coming in. See online or tide tables (Easytide for one). Nearby is Arnside which is a lovely quaint and old fashioned coastal village well worth a visit for a tea or coffee whilst watching the sun go down over Grange-over-Sands
