Woodburn Cottage works well for families or couples wanting their own space in the south Lakeland area. The two-bedroom cottage sleeps four: one room has a king bed, the other a double. Upstairs is a bathroom with bath and shower; downstairs, a living and dining room with woodburner and freeview television, plus a kitchen with range and microwave. The essentials—bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wi-fi—are included.
Outside, an enclosed lawned garden with patio and small orchard provides a place to unwind, and one well-behaved dog can stay for free. The village of Kirkby-in-Furness sits on the edge of the Lake District, with the coastal road to Ravenglass twenty minutes away and Ulverston reachable in a quarter of an hour over the fells. A beach lies two miles off; the village has a shop, pub and restaurant within walking distance. The cottage has steep internal stairs and some uneven surfaces in the garden, which may affect access for those with mobility restrictions.
