What visitors say
On our last day of our holiday in England, we decided to visit this wonderful museum – and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The museum is beautifully presented, and the volunteers were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of our questions in great detail and with genuine enthusiasm. We especially enjoyed the Concorde Experience. A very special thank you to Jeanette, who gave us a fantastic tour of Concorde and explained everything in such a professional, engaging, and informative way. Her passion and knowledge really made the experience unforgettable. Warm greetings from Germany – and thank you for a wonderful visit!

This is a great day out for all the family, including young children, teens and also the in-laws and grandparents. It's not a huge site, and is well laid out, with lots of benches to rest (including a cafe and play area for young children), and plenty of toilets dotted around the site. Explaining the history of cars, motor sport, buses and planes, there is plenty to see. The Concorde Experience is well worth the additional cost and was probably the highlight of my day, as well as being able to see inside VC10's, as my dad had been a Flight Engineer on these. There are plenty of volunteers across the site, willing to share their extensive knowledge and experience. Ask them questions, they are so happy to talk. One VC10 had a volunteer who was an ex-flight engineer, who I'm sure would have known my dad in the past, which was lovely. He was happy to explain the flight deck controls and talk about his time flying with both the RAF and BOAC/British Airways. He was 92, and it will be very, very sad when he is no longer able to share his wealth of knowledge with the younger generations. Yes, entry may be expensive, but the restoration and maintenance of the historic site and the exhibits costs money, time and expertise, and the money is clearly put to good use. We need these museums to remember how far transportation has evolved in such a short time. It was a very hot day when we visited and the heat got the better of us and we left after 4 1 /2 hours, before exploring the whole museum. We will definitely be back to see more. Thank you Brooklands Museum.

Great museum for aviation and motor racing fans. There was a Jaguar event when we got there and just found it funny that other cars would be redirected at the gate because 'only Jags can get in'. Really nice, friendly and passionate staff and volunteers and, lots of things to do for the entire day. Loved the bus museum and the bus ride, as well as the Concorde. If you don't go by car, keep in mind that on Sundays the museum closes at 5 and the last bus is at 4:30 and don't get stranded like we did haha.

Exceptional experience. You need at least 3 to 4 hours to properly and leisurely enjoy this gem of a museum. Built at a place where they made loads of innovations 100 years ago. It has f1 cars, other cars (capable of speeding at 350 kms/hr), bikes, bicycles, buses (from 100 years ago), planes, fighter planes, a concorde. It's not free, but it's awesome.
