A lovely B&B within easy walking distance to the beach and local attractions in Weymouth. We booked this last minute based on the weather and other reviews and we were not disappointed. The hosts Mel and Trish were wonderful from the start, helping us in any way that they could. The rooms were fresh, clean and tidy with thoughtful decor. The extra touches of games in the room and Haribo on the pillow went down well with our boys! It was great to have a mini fridge and fan in the room for the unseasonal hot weather! Breakfast was delicious and cooked to induvial specification. Top tips about where to go and what to see were appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay

Recently stayed here with my partner and 10month old bambino for my 30th and was thoroughly impressed. We ofc read reviews which highlighted how lovely the hosts were and they were absolutely correct. So warm and welcoming, down to earth, knowledgable and just a lovely couple to be greeted and looked after by. Nothing was too much trouble, went out of their way to let us know about events on that weekend, directions to places we wanted to go and places we could eat at etc. When we arrived, they had a lovely happy birthday sign, bottle of wine and decor on the bed and it’s the extra little touches like this that really make a difference. The room itself was lovely (adored the wallpaper btw), bed super comfy, lovely cot for my bambino who slept through the night. The room was a little warm due to the hot weather but there was a fan readily available which helped keep the temp down overnight! The location is ideal, 1 minute walk and you’re on the beachfront, restaurants and amusements dotted all along, 15 minute walk to the harbour, 15 minute walk opposite way to the realise centre, mini golf etc. I was expecting to hear more road noise with us being SO close to the beachfront but it was so so quiet! Breakfast was beautiful. I’m a coffee snob and their coffee was delicious (although I’m not giving away where they get it from 😉). They had a strap in seat for my bambino, his own little bowl and cutlery which I adored as he was included and looked after just as much as us 🥹. Waffled a bit here but honestly, would highly recommend and will definitely book back as we like to frequent Weymouth often. Thanks again!

Just come home from our stay at the calm sea guesthouse weymouth. 24/4/26. We had such a lovely stay. Our hosts Trish and Mel made our stay such a pleasant one. The room was lovely, the breakfast was very good and varied. Trish and Mel are welcoming, and have a wealth of knowledge and suggestions of the area. The guesthouse is situated just around the corner from the sea. I would highly recommend the calm sea guesthouse. .

We stayed during bank holiday weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was good size for our family of 4. And the location is perfect to explore Weymouth within a minute walk you are at the beach front. The customer service is excellent when our TV was not connecting to the internet we had a replacement TV within an hour. All of this was done with a smile on their face. The breakfast is the morning is sublime. They accommodated us with our vegetarian requirements. And even gave us extras for our journey home on the last day. Wish we could have stayed longer. You will not be disappointed with your stay.
