About Hotel Mon Ami
Rooms at Hotel Mon Ami are kept simple and functional, each with an en-suite bathroom and the option of a sea view over the Esplanade. Family rooms are available for those travelling with children, and drinks can be brought straight to the room. With 42 rooms in total, the hotel occupies a Georgian building on Weymouth's seafront, and a lift makes access straightforward throughout.
A restaurant and bar serve guests on site, with cooked breakfasts included and kids' meals catered for. Free WiFi runs throughout the building, and practical extras such as luggage storage and a laundry service are on hand for longer stays. Free on-site parking is provided, which is a useful bonus given the seafront setting.
Weymouth itself lies just 0.30 miles away, putting pubs, restaurants and the town's entertainment within easy reach, while walkers and cyclists can head straight out along the coast. Golf, fishing and watersports are all available nearby, and Corfe Castle makes for a worthwhile day out from the hotel. Pets are welcome, making it a workable base for a straightforward seaside stay.
What guests say
Staff were very helpful and polite. Tim did everything we asked and we all had a good long weekend. We were a bus trip of 41 friends. Yes, some bedrooms were smaller than others as was bathrooms but over all you only sleep and change in bedrooms, we certainly didn’t want to spend loads of time in there. We had front facing room with excellent views. Hotel was clean and food was good especially the breakfasts which were self serve so you can select as much or as little as you want, you have plenty of choice. Saturday night entertainment a husband and wife duo was excellent. The hotel is being upgraded and decorated so you may come across workmen not a problem for us. Good location. Thank you all.

A nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't have breakfast but it looked good. Rooms are quite small but we only needed them for sleeping and they were clean and comfortable. If we needed anything, staff were great. If you can get the on site parking it's £10 per day but worth it. Would definitely go again.

The hotel is a little dated but comfortable and clean, the shower pressure is better than we have at home and lovely and hot. The rooms are quiet. What made our stay exceptional was the staff, the receptionist Leah has got to be the best hotel receptionist I’ve dealt with here or abroad. The bar staff were attentive and provided great service. Our dog loved it to and there was plenty of places to walk him even though dogs aren’t allowed on the beach.

the location of this hotel is perfect, and the staff are really friendly but that is all. we stayed opposite the main door out to the front, which bangs all hours, so getting a good nights sleep if your given one of these rooms is a no go!! the room was pretty bad considering we payed £255.75 for 2 nights!! The toilet roll holder and soap dispenser over the shower kept falling off the wall and the toilet leaked slightly. I defiantly wouldn't stay here again nor will I recommend.
