Highly recommended, Sam and Richard are excellent hosts and breakfast was 10/10. Location great too, with both beach and harbour area just a few yards away.

A welcoming and relaxing B&B. Have visited Weymouth for last 6 years and stayed a couple of venues. This one is the nicest and so we keep coming back. Lovely rooms facing the sea or the harbour, we always go for the harbour so I can paint and people watch. The rooms have everything we need and breakfast is delicious. Sam and Richard are always great hosts and give us everything we need for our stay. A very handy spot if you like great walks, a typical British beach, good food locations nearby and sitting in the sun at local bars enjoying the atmosphere. Lovely 😍

I booked a 2 night stay at The Cavendale. We were blessed with lovely weather for the weekend and we were also blessed with the lovely welcome from Sam and Richard. A warm and homely B&B overlooking the beach at the front and the harbour at the back. Our room was spotless and well presented with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. The shower room was equipped with everything you would need except your toothbrush and toothpaste! Breakfast was superb with a big choice and all cooked fresh to order using top quality ingredients. It was delicious and set us up for the day ahead. Sam and Richard are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble, we shall return at some point in the future. Thank you for a delightful stay. X

Sometimes you have to admit defeat and give up, and that’s exactly what I did long ago when trying to find fault with The Cavendale in Weymouth…I just can’t find a single one. There can’t be a better B&B in Weymouth or anywhere else in the country for that matter. Sam and Richard do a fantastic job providing guests with everything that they could possibly want or need for a great holiday. The rooms are superb. Ideally decorated; light and modern and spotlessly clean and tidy with everything that you could need for your stay. The bathrooms are of the same high standard. We’ve all dealt with temperamental hotel showers but there’s none of that here. Everything works perfectly and with no messing needed. The breakfasts are lovely. Everything is available with Richard doing the cooking and Sam keeping the guests happy. Full English breakfast (all quality ingredients), cereal, croissants and Richard does a great omelette too. You really can’t go wrong. All dietary requirements are catered for and served in a perfect breakfast room. The beach is just feet away from the front door and with a 2 minute walk to the rear of the building you’re in the harbour. The town centre is just a 5 minute walk away and there are plenty of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance too. A room at the front of the building gets you a wonderful view along the seafront and from rooms at the rear you get a fantastic view of the harbour. If you’re thinking of a holiday in Weymouth then look no further than The Cavendale. I guarantee that you won’t regret it and if you later think of going back to Weymouth I guarantee that you’ll return to The Cavendale.
