About Lower Bridge Farm Camping
Tucked down a farm track above Chesil Beach, this relaxed pop-up site offers something special: sweeping views of that famous 18-mile shingle bank and direct access to the South West Coast Path. The spacious grassy field sits in proper rural tranquillity – horses grazing in neighbouring paddocks, the Fleet Lagoon a short stroll away, and Pirate Cove reachable in 15 minutes on foot.
It's a simple setup best suited to self-sufficient campers, with just one portable toilet alongside drinking water, chemical waste disposal and recycling. The track isn't suitable for low vehicles or large motorhomes, and the terrain can be uneven underfoot. Dogs are welcome year-round (on leads) and there's a dog-friendly pub-restaurant five minutes' walk away.
Despite the rural feel, you're only two miles from Weymouth's centre, making shops, harbour and sandy beach an easy drive or longer walk when you fancy a change from that spectacular coastal scenery.

Fantastic spot overlooking the ocean, very friendly and helpful owner, facilities are straightforward and all that's needed. Horses and sheep improved the great views. Lovely walk to the beach and very reasonably priced.
