What visitors say
We just came back from two nights camping and what can I say. If you like basic campsites like we do this is the place. Nice view, basic but clean facilities, two areas to chose your pitch. The owner very nice and welcoming. You can do a nice walk to Captain's Cook monument and Rossebery Topping. I believe it's a stop for those doing the Cleveland Way. I highly recommend if you are looking to relax surrounded by nature.

Bit of a late review as my experience was last year now, but cannot recommend this place enough! We were looking for a place to camp after being moved on from a cheeky wild camp attempt in the moors, gave them a call after 6pm and it was no problem for the owners. Really lovely people! Great showers and facilities, and a stunning view. Since it's a active farm, there's plenty of sheep close by your pitch, so watch out for them on the drive in!

Me my husband and our wee dog booked in here 10th March 2026 it was absolutely lovely the farm owner was very kind and polite there were showers toilets hot n cold water couldnt ask for anything more it was very quiet just how we like it the views are outstanding will definitely be back

I loved staying at the Kildale campsite, it was such a beautiful, peaceful location with a lovely view and I received a very friendly welcome from Donna. The facilities were very good and close to my pitch which was on some hardstanding outside the field. I really enjoyed watching the swallows flying around my van at dawn and dusk, there were also goldfinches and I saw a curlew in a nearby field. My one night stay turned into two!
