About Hadley Park Whitchurch
Tucked just outside Whitchurch on the Wrexham road, this family-run site caters to an unusually broad crowd. Touring pitches welcome caravans, motorhomes and tents, while glampers can skip the kit altogether and settle into ready-pitched accommodation. The equestrian angle sets Hadley Park apart - a small cross-country course runs through the grounds, drawing riders alongside regular campers.
The Alfresco Kitchen cafe serves food throughout the day, handy for first-night arrivals who'd rather not fire up the stove immediately. Dog owners appreciate the dedicated agility area, and anglers can fish on site. Occasional events pepper the calendar through the season, though some visitors note facilities can feel a touch tired in places.
Chester and Shrewsbury both sit within twenty miles, making this a practical base for wider exploration. Whitchurch itself - a handsome market town with a solid spread of pubs, restaurants and shops - lies close enough for an easy evening stroll.

What visitors say
Excellent adults only campsite with fishing lake. It has all the facilities you could need. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The cafe has been recommended by many campers. The shower block is excellent and always very clean. Kitchen available also with fridge, washing machine etc. It is a 25 to 30 minute walk along the canal from the campsite into Whitchurch town centre. The road noise can be noticeable but is minimal and it is mainly quiet after 7pm. Beautiful scenery too. Highly recommend a visit.

Lovely camping, glamping and caravan site. Cafe on site but only open til 3pm. Washing up and laundry facilities available. Lake for fishing. It is on a busy A road so there is some road noise but not enough to spoil the trip. Canal walk at the back of the site and dog exercising field available.
