About Bower Wigwams
Bower Wigwams sits just outside Wick, offering a straightforward base for exploring Caithness's far-northern landscapes. The site keeps things simple and functional, making it a handy stopover whether you're touring the coast or venturing inland toward the Flow Country.
One thing to note: dogs aren't permitted here, so you'll need to make other arrangements if you're travelling with pets. Beyond that, it's a no-frills option that does what it says on the tin—somewhere practical to pitch up while you get out and discover what this remote corner of Scotland has to offer.

Avoid. Took the money up from for reservation then asked me to pay cash when I arrived. Then told me to cancel because I was bringing an American bulldog (12 year old and tone deaf, probably the friendliest dog breed you could meet). They told me they had children and calves so I couldn't bring him, maybe they were worried he would slobber them to death? Total waste of time AVOID

A fantastic place to stay, and the owner, Jenny was lovely and very welcoming. They also sell fresh eggs, beef and venison burgers, as well as kindling for the fire pit and disposable bbq kits. We had the beef burgers and cooked them over the campfire, and they were excellent. The Wigwam was immaculately clean. Had a fantastic evening there with a couple of drinks, a fire in the fire pit outside our cabin, and a lovely view. My only regret is that I was only there one night. We're definitely planning a return trip

It was amazing, just after staying on ordinary camping sites for a week. A great kitchen with a stove, fridge and microwave and a heating in the wigwam. The shower is warm and cozy and the host is sooooo kind. Will always come back :)

Definitely would come back and recommend to anyone that loves nature and the country side, the place was perfect and what made it even better was Jenny the hostess who is a lovely person, has a lot of knowledge about the area and not just. Felt sad I had to leave for me this place and the people felt like I was so close to home yet so far away.
